La Redoute opens the doors to its first showroom in Spain
Located in Barcelona and named La Maison de La Redoute, the 480 m² space brings together La Redoute Intérieurs and AMPM collections in an inspiring setting for design professionals and enthusiasts alike. The opening coincided with Barcelona Design Week and brought together journalists, design and interior decoration professionals, and content creators.

La Redoute has entered a new chapter in its history in Spain with the opening of La Maison de La Redoute, its first showroom in the country. Designed as a space to discover, experience and engage with design first-hand, the new venue brings the brand’s world closer to interior design professionals and enthusiasts, inviting them to explore its collections beyond the screen and find fresh sources of inspiration.
Spanning 480 m² in the heart of Barcelona, at Carrer Diputació, 273, La Maison de La Redoute is conceived as a meeting place where French design, creativity and savoir-faire come together in an environment designed to spark ideas and showcase the potential of each piece. Its opening marks another milestone in the evolution of La Redoute, a brand whose history dates back to 1837 and has traditionally been closely associated with catalogue shopping.
Having brought its universe online, the brand is now expanding the experience with its own physical space in Spain.
A home for French design
La Maison de La Redoute pays tribute to the brand’s roots by reviving the name of its first physical store in France, which opened in the 1970s. It is a way of celebrating the brand’s heritage and ongoing evolution while staying true to its identity. Designed as a multifunctional space, the new showroom combines offices and meeting rooms for the La Redoute Spain team with a spacious exhibition area featuring different settings throughout the home, including living room, dining room, bedroom and outdoor spaces.
The showroom brings together the collections of La Redoute Intérieurs and AM.PM, La Redoute’s two in-house home brands, each with its own design team and distinctive collections. From furniture to textiles and accessories, visitors can discover the character of both brands up close and see how their designs complement one another to create spaces with personality. The experience goes beyond simply viewing the collections. La Maison de La Redoute allows visitors to appreciate the colours, fabrics, textures, materials and finishes first-hand, explore the quality of each piece and discover how the collections work in a real-life setting. It is a way of bringing design closer to everyday life and helping visitors find fresh ideas for their own projects.
Interior stylist and decorator Mar Gausachs was responsible for styling the space, creating settings that reflect the aesthetic of both brands and highlight the interplay of materials, volumes and styles. The project also benefits from collaborations with Niessen, which has integrated a smart lighting system that allows the lights to be controlled, including via mobile devices, and Verdecora, which has provided plants for the indoor and outdoor areas, completing the decorative concept of each setting.

A meeting place for professionals and interior design enthusiasts
The new showroom is particularly aimed at professionals in the hospitality sector, as well as architects and interior designers looking for fresh ideas and solutions for their projects. It also welcomes design enthusiasts who wish to explore the collections and gain a closer understanding of the brand’s aesthetic vision.
“With La Maison de La Redoute, we want to connect with people in a different way by creating a space where we can share our vision of the home, spark new ideas and build relationships that go beyond our collections. We want visitors to find inspiration here and, when they think about transforming their spaces, to see La Redoute as one of the brands they turn to”, explains Damien Poelhekke, CEO of La Redoute in Spain and Portugal.
Visits to the showroom are available by appointment, which can be requested through the La Redoute website.
An opening during Barcelona Design Week
The opening of La Maison de La Redoute coincided with Barcelona Design Week, with an event designed to showcase the brand’s creative universe and introduce visitors to the possibilities of the new space. The event featured Mathieu Debuisser, Lead Designer at AM.PM, and Simon Caradec, Product Designer at La Redoute Intérieurs, who shared the perspectives of both brands on design and interior styling.
Journalists, industry professionals, content creators and influencers had the opportunity to explore the showroom’s different settings and discover La Redoute’s collections first-hand. Barcelona-founded brand Born Rosé also joined the occasion, serving its rosé wines throughout the event. With La Maison de La Redoute, the brand invites visitors to discover design from a new perspective: a place to touch, explore, exchange ideas and find inspiration. A space that connects its French heritage with new ways of approaching interior design and opens the door to a whole world of creativity.
